1 Hour Singles Ladder
Our 1 Hour Singles Ladder is open to players of all abilities, not just the elite, to enjoy a one hour game of singles. It’s a great way to enjoy a competitive one hour singles game in a relaxed, friendly format.
The format is simple: win and you can climb up the ladder, lose and you drop just one place. Regular movement keeps the ladder fresh and competitive, and every game matters.
Members can play at any time, with or without needing a marker - there are slightly altered rules for playing without a marker. Simply collect a card from reception, record your result on the noticeboard results sheet, and we’ll update the ladder for you.
If you want to join, there is no need to register. Just play someone on the ladder or any other member. We also arrange sessions on Mondays at 4pm and Tuesdays at 6.15pm. Sign up on the notice board or via an online form (ask the organiser for the link).
Each match lasts for one hour and costs the normal rink fee of £1.25 per player. Organised sessions run for two hours, allowing some players to fit in two games.
